This small cup in stoneware is part of the Terres de Rêves series, a breathtaking collection by designer Anita Le Grelle for Serax. The cup without handle is perfect for indulging in both coffee and tea. The charming reactive glaze gives each piece its own unique character — the interior and exterior of the cup have each been finished with different hues, lending the mug a great deal of nuance, dimensionality and character. The idea for this beautiful stoneware collection came about by chance: Anita was originally assembling one of her old art constructs of clay. The disassembled components of the tower-like sculpture became the foundation for what would eventually become the Terres de Rêves collection. As time wore on and the popularity of the collection increased, the elegant service series came to include all sorts of tableware such as cups, mugs, plates, bowls and saucers in a diverse range of shapes and colours. Mix and match the various pieces from the delectable service collection for a sophisticated and graceful expression: alternatively you can use only one or two leitmotif hues to create a more cohesive and unified look.
