The Herit chair in black leather was designed by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen. The piece is a gorgeous exemplification of Danish design heritage. It bears such a striking homage to the form and aesthetic of the discipline that it is named after the word "heritage" as a symbol of its traditional roots. Legald wanted to create a versatile yet highly durable chair that would fit in a modern home. Inspired by iconic Danish design, the chair incorporated traditional hallmarks of form and figure but now cast in new, innovative materials. The combination of materials is what really sets the Herit apart from other chairs — the body is made of moulded plastic with a core of foam. The legs have been carved from solid oak to ensure a firm and sturdy base. The overall form of the Herit has a timeless silhouette that renders it a beautiful and highly functional addition to the home.
