Mirage vase 31 cm, from Swedish brand Kosta Boda, is a decorative, mouth-blown vase with a teardrop-shaped mouth and colours that the soft shape of the vase reflects in an intriguing way. This combination makes the vase an attractive glass sculpture, both with and without flowers. The vase is designed by glass artist Göran Wärff. The production of the vase's eye-catching design consists of several different phases, all done at Kosta Glasbruk, in the Swedish province of Småland. Firstly, the vase is mouth-blown using a bent pipe, producing the swaying design. Then, the so-called "zoom technique" is used to give the vase its colours. After cooling, the vase is sanded into its final, elegant shape.
