The Omaggio vase pearl from Kähler is an elegant reinterpretation of the one of Scandinavia’s most iconic vases. The vase is painted by hand with discrete pearlescent stripes. The original Omaggio vase was painted with black stripes, creating a strong, geometric-style contrast. This interpretation creates a much more understated look and allows the shape of the vase to take center stage. The pearlescent color was inspired by the Nordic nature and the mother-of-pearl that builds up on the inside of shells on the beach. When struck by sunlight, the mother-of-pearl glistens in soft shades of yellow, rose and natural white – as do the painted elements on this vase when placed in front of a window. The vase is available in three different sizes.
