The Ollie is a beautiful sculpture created by Swedish artist Kristiina Haataja in collaboration with Cooee design. The raw, organic material fuses with the piece's simple design language to create an utterly timeless decoration in your home. The sculptural form also creates striking contrasts alongside Cooee's other gorgeous matte products. The leitmotif of the piece is the idea that life will bring about difficult periods but that it still manages to preserve its unique and elaborate beauty. The name Ollie is derived from the stately olive tree which is well-known for surviving with vigour through long dry periods of hardship while still retaining its beautiful exterior.
