The Tapio red wine glass 25 cl 2-pack from Iittala is part of a collection of hand-blown glasses that was designed in 1954 by the Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala and is today the most long-standing glassware collection on the Finnish market. In 1953, the designer developed a now well-known technique called pipe glass blowing, which involves creating a glass bubble with the help of a wet wooden stick. The elegant red wine glasses have a beautiful silhouette with the characteristic glass bubble in the stem that adds a little extra flair to dinnertime.
