Bachelor's Button trivet

The Bachelor's Button trivet from Åry Home bears an elegant floral pattern in pristine white set against a lovely warm shade of yellow. The highly intricate motif was designed in 1892 by Arts & Crafts artist William Morris and depicts an ensemble of cornflowers. These flowers are sometimes referred to as "bachelor's buttons" in old folk tales, which is where the piece derives its name. The top of the trivet has a sleek matte finish while the cork underside ensures it lies steady on the table. Black bevelled edges make for a highly stylish detail that also ensures the trivet is easy to hold.
