The bowl is part of the Spring 2018 collection with images taken from Tove Jansson's stories about Moomintroll and his friends. This design is taken from the book, 'Finn Family Moomintroll' from 1948 and takes place during a magical summer. The Hobgoblin arrived in Moominvalley and was looking for jewels, specifically the King's ruby. The depicted characters Thingumy & Bob, who speak their own secret language, have just moved to Moominvalley to seek shelter after they stole the King's ruby. When they finally hand the jewel to the Hobgoblin, he created a copy of it for Thingumy & Bob called the Queen's ruby.
